Southern Papers, Series - 2023
Southern Papers is a series of handmade papers incorporating textures from my home, experiences, and landscapes in Northwest Georgia in Southern Appalachia. Textures and tones derive from red clay, okra and okra seeds, cotton, black tea, and pecans. Paper pulp is a mixture of cotton fiber paper and paper scraps.
